Our stock-size, Basswood shutter sets with 1-1/4" slats add that special old-time charm to any window. Available in panel heights up to 40" stock-size Basswood shutters are designed for installation in a “café style” covering part of a window or may be double hung to cover the entire window. Of course, windows with heights less than 40” will use the stock-size Basswood shutters as a primary shutter to cover the entire window with one Basswood shutter set.

Each Basswood shutter set comes with hang strips, brass-plated mounting hardware, and a hook and knob set. Shutters may be mounted inside or surface mounted on the outside the window jamb. Outside surface mount installation requires no trimming of the panel widths. Basswood shutter panels may be trimmed up to ½” each side and up to 2” top and bottom for inside the jamb installation.
