Measuring Tutorial for Cafe-Style Plantation Shutters

YOU SAID...

You would like to mount your shutters outside the opening.
You have trim.
You may or may not have a sill.
You would like Cafe-Style Shutters.

Cafe Style Shutters

Use a steel measuring tape and measure to the nearest 1/8"
Measure from the outside edge of the window trim to the outside edge of the window trim. Measure in 3 places.
Enter the largest width on the order form.

Measure Height

If you have a sill...

Window Style 3

Measure from the edge of the bottom trim to the where you would like the panel to end.
Enter this height on the order form.

If you don't have a sill...

Window Style 4

Measure from the top of sill to where you would like the panel to end.
Enter this height on the order form.
