2. Measuring. Measure the width & height in 3 places from inside the opening. Enter the smallest width and height on the order form.
3. Mounting. Which is right for you; a Direct Mount or an Indirect Mount for Opening Type 0?
A Direct Mount is primarily used when the window jamb is wood. The wood jamb provides a solid attachment point for the hinge. It is also used when the window dimensions are fairly consistent (within 3/16"). Moldings are supplied free of charge - (4) #10 Light stops.
An Indirect Mount is primarily used when the window jamb is drywall. It is also used when the window dimensions are inconsistent (in excess of 1/4" difference). Standard Moldings are supplied free of charge - (2) #15 Hang strips and ( 2) #11 Light stops.
