Mounting your shutters on the outside of the opening is the easiest
way to install shutters and usually does not require any trimming.
To ensure the louvers can open and close, Both Traditional 1-1/4" shutters and Plantation 2-1/2" shutters require a jamb depth of 3/4". More info. |
Mounting your shutters on the inside of the opening requires a
square window opening. If diagonal corner measurements differ by
1/2" or more, use an outside mount.
