Installation Styles
Shutters over 40" in height have a mid-rail.
Top and bottom sections open independently for privacy.
  
Box Contents
  • All Plantation 2-1/2" louver shutter sets contain 2 panels per box.
  • Traditional 1-1/4" louver shutter sets with widths of 23" to 25" contain 2 panels per box.
  • Traditional 1-1/4" louver shutter sets with widths of 27" to 29" and wider contain 4 panels per box.

Outside Mount

Shutters are installed on the face of the window frame.

Mounting your shutters on the outside of the opening is the easiest way to install shutters and usually does not require any trimming.

To ensure the louvers can open and close, Both Traditional 1-1/4" shutters and Plantation 2-1/2" shutters require a jamb depth of 3/4". More info.
Mounting your shutters on the inside of the opening requires a square window opening. If diagonal corner measurements differ by 1/2" or more, use an outside mount.

To ensure the louvers can open and close, Traditional 1-1/4" shutters require a jamb depth of 1-1/4"; Plantation 2-1/2" shutters require a jamb depth of 1-1/2". More info.
