Celuka synthetic extruded PVC foam material for maximum strength, ding resistance, sanding and finishing qualities.

Celuka is a process of extruding vinyl. There are two types of foam material. One is called free foam and the other process is Celuka. Celuka process provides a harder surface than free foam. The harder surface makes the shutter more durable and ding resistant. It also makes the shutter stronger. Celuka costs more to run than free foam, but it is a quality feature PolyDesign feels is worth paying for. We absorb this added cost so our shutters cost you no more than softer free foam shutters

I just wanted to thank you for all you help in ordering my shutters and tell you how happy I am with them. They arrived much sooner than I expected and were in perfect shape with no missing parts. I was somewhat hesitant ordering online as I wasn't sure what the quality would be like and I saw some pretty bad shutters in a couple of stores. The quality was as good or better than some shutters I saw which cost a lot more money. The frame was a snap to put together with all the screw holes pre-drilled. I've included a picture of the installation. Scott, thanks again for all your help and for such a quality product. I'm sure to call you again when I'm ready to do the rest of my house.

WOW- my new shutters are beautiful! When I get them installed I will send you a before and after picture of my room- right now I just have them propped up against the window- they fit great and I love what they add to the room!!
