Bamboo Blinds Measuring Instructions

Note:If you are concerned with light and privacy issues, consider an outside mount as these bamboo shades have slightly larger light gaps on the sides than other window coverings, e.g., mini binds.
Inside Mount Provides a finished, custom appearance Does not hide decorative molding Requires 2" of depth in window for installation. Factory will take allowance from width dimension to insure shade will fit into the opening, A front valance piece is included.	Outside Mount Measurements should be the size of the shade you actually want. Factory will make no allowances from the dimensions you provide. A front valance, side returns, and wall mount brackets are included. Your window will appear larger. Provide better light control and privacy.

Measuring for an Inside Mount Measure the width & height in 3 places from inside the opening. When ordering, enter the smallest width and height on the order form.	How to go about Measuring for a typical outside mount installation. You can make the shade wider or narrower too. Use your own best judgment based on your particular situation. Measure the width in 3 places from inside the opening. Enter the largest width on the order form. If you have a sill, measure from the top of sill to the outside edge of the top trim in 3 places. Enter the largest height and width on the order form. If you DO NOT have a sill, measure from the edge of the bottom trim to the outside edge of the top trim in 3 places. Enter the largest height and width on the order form.
